We are delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to listen to our website via a link to Browsealoud.
Browsealoud is a free speech enabler download that enables you to listen rather than read our website content.
It can offer a practical website access service to a range of people who may:-
- have reading or literacy difficulties
- not be fluent in English as it is not their first language
- have Dyslexia
- have mild visual impairment
- just find it easier to listen, rather than read
All you need to do to install this free software is click on the Browsealoud button below and follow the simple step-by-step guide.
Once you have downloaded Browsaloud you will have the option to alter the pitch, speed and volume of the speech facility. You can also choose a male or female voice.
Change the size of text
To alter your text size move your mouse pointer over the word "View" (in some web browsers you will need to select "Page" rather than "View") that is displayed at the top of the browser window and click the mouse button once. This will display a dropdown list of options.
Move the mouse pointer over the option labelled 'Text Size' and press the mouse button once. This will display another list of options.
Click on the required option for the text size wanted. The page will then refresh with your newly selected setting.
